Week 1 vs. Laurie Financial - These two teams have gotten together each of the last 5 years and have split each and every time. The Bastards drop game 14-4 but come back and lay a solid 16-5 lumping on their old rivals.

Week 2 - The Arrogance was abound as the team has it's first 3 game winning streak in about 4 years. Someone is going to have to start testing urine samples as the Bastards unloaded hit after hit in sweeping the Orange Sox.

Week 3 vs The short handed Mutts saw the boys in black put on an offensive display the likes of which have never been seen before. The mighty Bastards were truly arrogant as the scored 29 in the first game and 26 in the second mercy ruling the Mutts (who did only have 8 players) both games. Along the way the ABs turned 4 double plays, threw a runner out at home and saw Steve "The Beast" Vance smack some long balls that still haven't come down. No shot was as majestic as Mo Calkins slam in the 2nd game. That shot left the field we were on and actually scored a goal in the soccer goal in the next field. The Arrogant Bastards sit at 5-1 for the first time in team history.

Week 4 vs. Wildcards - Game 1 saw the Bastards break out to a 10-1 lead only to have the Wildcards close it to 10-7 heading into the last innings, a couple of insurance runs and the bastards walked away with a 12-7 win. Game 2 saw the bastards fall behind 6-1 and trailed heading into the bottom of the 6th 9-4. But despite all the mistakes the team made they rallied and tied the game 9-9 heading into the 7th. The Wildcards failed to score in their half and the bastards made them pay with a sweet come from behind 10-9 win.

Week 5 vs. Jokers - Mike Vance returns for a rematch of last years playoffs as the two teams squared off again at Bethel Mill. The Jokers looked to try and put away the Arrogant Bastards early by scoring 7 runs in the first three innings but after that a stout defense held them in check allowing only 1 run over the last 4 innings which allowed the bats to finally get going and put the game away 11-8. In the twin bill, the Bastards hit early and often eventually jumping out to a 18-11 lead heading into the last inning. The Jokers got 4 but that wasn't enough to halt the bastards 9 game winning streak winning 18-15. The boys are off next week for some much need healing time.

Week 6 vs Sons Of Pitches (West Deptford Park A) It looked more like the boys in black were playing the local chapter of the hell's angels but the mighty Bastards stood tall, took advantage of some defensive miscues in the Sons of Pitches outfield and went on to sweep the weekend series and improve to 11-1.

Week 7 vs Nippers Pub (Monoghelia School) On a brutally hot Sunday the boys battled Nippers Pub in two very close games but ultimately kept the streak alive by sweeping the 2 games 11-8 and 4-3 (yes, that's really 4-3 in lob pitch softball). Despite the lull in the offense, it was the defense heating up as Corey and Fran got together for a little steam tea bagging action in the field. When all was said an done, Fran walked away with his nuts in tact and Corey just a tad bruised.

Week 8 vs Blue Devils (Wash Twp HS #1) Another week and another scorching hot Sunday. This week saw the winning streak snapped as the Bastards dropped the first game 13-9. The boys had a lot of hits, but couldn't bunch enough of them together to over come a 6-3 deficit after the first inning. The second game was close all the way into the 7th where the Bastards turned a 3 run lead into a 13 run lead and the boys coasted to their 14th win of the season against only 2 losses.

Week 9 vs Captain's Corner 2 (CHARLES BOWEN COMPLEX) In a battle of the top two teams of the division, the Bastards came up short this week getting swept for the first time this year, losing game 1 by a score of 11-6. In the second game the Bastards had things well in hand with a 9-5 lead heading into the  7th, but the defense didn't hold up and just like that the Bastards were swept 11-9.

Week 10 vs Shananigans (CHARLES BOWEN COMPLEX) The boys in black came out sloppy and unmotivated and quickly fell behind 7-0. The Bastards came back to tie the game 8-8 in the third inning. The score would not change until the Bastards took a 10-8 lead in the 7th only to give up 3 in the bottom of the 7th to lose their third straight. Game 2 saw the boys get back on winning side of things as the game was close until the boys put up a 9 spot in the 7th to take 13-3 lead. The team from Shananigan's tried to come back but some rather sloppy base running helped end the game and gave the Bastards a 13-7 win. This win gives the franchise it's best ever 15 regular season wins!!!

PLAYOFF WEEK 1
